How to Properly Use Ring Die of Ring Die Pellet Machine?

With the rapid development of production, the ring die pellet mill has more and more wider application, so as its main wearing parts ---- ring die’s demand is also growing. According to incomplete statistics, the total loss of ring die fees is more than 20% in the production plant maintenance costs, so it’s necessary to promote the right use way. In practice, we need to pay attention to the following five points.

1. The gap adjustment between the ring die and the pressure roller

In general, the gap between the pressure roller ring die is 0.1--0.3mm, from practical experience, achieving "turn like non-transgenic" state of the pressure roller is the best when you using your hand to pull it. In the regulation direction, pay attention to adjust the direction of the pressure roller steering is opposite to ring die.

2. Prevent metal and hard foreign matters from getting into the ring mold and the pressure roller

Do necessary clean-up before granulating, avoid material mixed with chunks of gravel, sand, iron, bolts and iron and other hard particles. Otherwise, the ring die may occur fracture phenomena due to abnormal stress.

3. Proper installation and replacement of ring die

Pay attention to the details when Installing or replacing in order to reduce or avoid unnecessary damage, such as: avoid bumps and scratches cone of new ring die, load in the right place, fixing bolts is not too long or short.

4. Avoid mixed use of old, new ring die and press roller

In operation, avoid mixed use of old ring die with new press roller or new ring die with old press roller, otherwise will cause big damage of machine.

5. Do regular inspections

Doing regular inspections of the drive rim to prevent excessive wear leading to breaking of the fixing ring die and affect the machine's life and normal production activities.
