1.Pellet Size

Straw pellet machine materials power consumption is proportional to the size, that’s to say more bigger pellet size, more power consumption; on the contrary, more smaller. Because too big pellet size will increase wear between press roller shell and ring die, which causes difficult to granulate, big power consumption, and low capacity.

2.Ring die length-diameter ratio

Ring die length-diameter ratio is also known as the ring die compression ratio, its refers to the ratio of the effective ring die working length and ring die orifice diameter. Producers can adjust the it according to their actual needs, reducing the compression ratio can increase production capacity and wear between ring die and press roller; on the contrary, tight pellet, smooth and shiny appearance, small chalking rate. Therefore, the ring die length-diameter ratio and power consumption also shows a positive correlation.

3. Water content

The material water content and power consumption are positively associated, it is likely to blockage straw pellet machine when there is too much water, so that resulting in unnecessary power loss; but the water should not be too small, appropriate amount.

In the three factors, pellet size and ring die length-diameter ratio have a greater impact on the tonnage of electricity consumption, all are positive effects; the influence of interaction between water content and ring die length-diameter ratio is most great to the tonnage electricity consumption, the other two factors is very small.
